I’m planning a date for the weekend, so I decided the best place to start is with my dating life.
If you’re looking for something different to do on a date try one or all of these five eco-friendly date Read More..

In a capitalist market seemingly obsessed with profit, the green bandwagon suddenly appears rather ironically overloaded with corporates. Whether it be big brand retailers, such as Tesco, or technology giants, such as BSkyB, business now seems intent on winning the hearts and pockets of the environmentally-conscious consumer.

We’re currently living in a day and age where the ecology of our planet is becoming a very important issue in everyday life. The way we use and re-use our resources as well as how we manage our homes and lives in green culture provides us an opportunity to make choices in helping to promote a cleaner healthier planet. Part of those choices stem from using more energy efficient light bulbs. Recycling our plastics and paper. Even making choices about the furniture we purchase. In this article we’ll take a look at some things we can do to recycle and re-use our older furniture as Read More..

In fact, quite the reverse. There is a widely held conception that anything green, whilst good for the environment, ultimately costs more in monetary terms. ECO friendly properties are cheaper and quicker to construct, and cheaper to run on a day to day basis.

Perhaps it’s time to take a look around your house to see if it’s a good idea to start cleaning up the house. After all, a clean house is an eco friendly house. What does that mean? Well, that means when you clean and organize the stuff in your house, not only can you help save the environment, you can also save money. So what does eco friendly has to do with saving money?
The problem with most homeowners is that they are not aware that there are existing resources in their own home that can be reused or recycled. If you imagine that the half of the rainforest is cut down you will admit that there has to be a better way we construct our houses. There is a lot of choices but first thing coming to mind is the cost. Believe it or not you can get a sustainable hardwood floor such as bamboo that is less expensive than any other hardwood floor on the market. There are companies of bamboo floor in Hawaii and China and other Asian countries. Bamboo is actually a grass and grows extremely fast it can grow one meter per day. Even in this age of electronic communication and ‘paperless’ offices, mankind has not been able to fully shrug off the need for paper.
